Family portraits in a Mustard Field

The Rosa family was happy to indulge Mischa in one of his “bucket list” shoots: a family portrait in a blooming field of bright yellow mustard. We even got to Trespass, which is a bonus for Mischa’s adventure seeking side. (Me, not so much. This girl is a sign, reading, rule-follower…. I digress)

We drove to Half Moon Bay and met at a coffee shop early one Sunday morning before driving caravan style, looking for the perfect location. Big yellow field, check. Easy access to said field, check. Place to park, check. Eureka! Our location was decided.

Sure, it was chilly and muddy and a bit of a hike to the perfect spot. Mischa asked them to jump, and then jump again. The wind blew the umbrellas all around. There are some terrific outtakes. We hope that every time these guys see their wall portraits, it reminds them of laughter and our adventure together.
