Sunset in the Valley of Fire – Las Vegas wedding

Jessica found us by searching the internet for wedding photographers and in her early correspondence with Mischa said something that stood out “… given the choice between nice and stunning, I want stunning ;)”

That sentiment is exactly why we love wedding photography.  Mischa totally specializes in stunning.

In the year before the wedding there were many more emails exchanged. Apparently, you need a permit to legally photograph a wedding in the Valley Of Fire State Park . The bride arranged a party bus to transport her thirty guests from their hotel (The Mandarin Oriental) to the ceremony location in the Valley of Fire. When describing the tone of the event, Jessica said …”its basically relatives, loud New Yorkers and longhaired metalheads”  Ha!

By the day of the wedding, all the details had been arranged without the bride and her photographer ever having met.

Sometimes, this is just the way destination weddings work.
