Mother and son portrait in the almond blossoms

There are a lot of seasons specific to Sacramento portrait photographers…. sunflower season, apple hill season, and almond blossom season are a few. This mother and son portrait session was at the tail end of almond blossom season, in February, proving that Sacramento family portraits can be taken in any season with beautiful results.

Sacramento family portraits, especially this mother and son in the almond blossoms, are a highlight of being photographers. 

We love being able to freeze time for this busy mom. Kai is growing every day. It’s only 5 months since we photographed this mother and son session and Kai is already taller and more mature.

This mother and son share some enchanting eyes too.

Anytime we do a Sacramento family portrait session, we are sure to capture some individual shots too. Like this one of mama Lina in the almond blossoms. She is a stunner.

Kai obliged our request to sit politely for a photo, and then we let him get some energy out.

This is much more indicative of Kai’s personality.  He is pure energy. His parents are lucky and so are we. We love photographing this family.
