On a gorgeous Saturday in May, we took a drive down the Monterey Bay coastline to the Seaside golf course wedding of Janet and Pedro at Bayonet and Blackhorse. Seaside is a small town nestled between big-name coastal favorites: Big Sur, Carmel, and Santa Cruz and it shares their famously temperate weather and views of the bay. The ceremony was held on the golf course with a stunning panoramic view of the coast, and the reception was held inside the dining room, with windows facing the same breathtaking view. Chantal of Forma weddings was on hand to help make sure the details were perfect and the day ran smoothly.
Janet got ready at a nearby home
Pedro got ready in one of the offices at Bayonet & Blackhorse.
We asked Janet & Pedro to help us spice up their blog post by answering some questions about their wedding experience and here’s what they had to say:
What was the best part of your wedding day?
Hard question! But our best part of our wedding was definitely the ceremony, so many emotions and honesty was seen in our eyes. It was a very special moment that will always be with us as well as the rest of our wedding day!
When we asked what their favorite images were, Janet answered:
“This is truly a hard question!!! All the images were so amazing!! Too hard to choose!! But if we must chose one of them all it would be one of the ones were we are surrounded by trees and the light of the sun is seen through the branches and we are right under it…”
We also asked, “What was unexpected that you loved?:
We were surprised on how beautiful the sunset looked and how amazing the picture were able to capture it! We both have always loved the way the Sunset looks and we were happy to have been able to take some pictures during that time of the day
Last, but not least, we asked them to describe their experience working with us….
Mischa & Brie were wonderful! This is the couple you want photographing and enjoying the wedding with you! They were professional and very casual, they listen to our opinions, they are funny and work well with each other. They were very creative together as well! Very kind too! Flexible with times too which we really appreciated it.
