Folsom Engagement photography – Old Town and the riverbank

Kelly & Shelby know their way around Sacramento. When they suggested Old Town Folsom for their engagement images, we were intrigued and ready to play. Kelly & Shelby were a LOT of fun to play with!!

We started the engagement photography in their most formal outfits offset by the unique architecture of Old Town Folsom.

Kelly had done some research of other engagement images in Folsom and wanted to capture some similar feeling images. Romantic, playful, stylish, fun.

Though we knew the last light of day would be photographed near the water, we hadn’t specifically agreed on full submersion…. Mischa did come prepared with a towel, shorts & flip-flops ( and a trusty assistant to “go-for” flashes, lenses and extra batteries).

The images will tell the story 🙂 All I can add is that after spending the evening with these two (and editing the images with “Bridezillas” in the background – making me more and more thankful that our brides are so gorgeous AND down-to-earth)
