We spent the past weekend at Legoland, and in addition to the wonderful memories we made together as a family, we also ran into a past wedding couple and their daughter. We realized that we photographed their Edgewood Tahoe wedding in 2009 and that it was the first year we started shooting together as a couple. To honor that day 9 years ago, and the beautiful Tahoe wedding album Mischa designed for them, we thought it would be an appropriate throwback for this week’s blog post. Here they are, Leia & Art, 9 years ago on their wedding day.
Wedding albums are a big part of the wedding photography experience, but they definitely shouldn’t be rushed. An album that your 8 year old daughter might enjoy looking through and commenting on how young and well-rested you look.
Next year will mark the 10th year for a lot of special couples to us. We hope they cherish their albums and the memories we captured as their wedding photographers. When it comes to wedding photography and albums, they only become more valuable with time.
